Visiting Brooklyn Free Space is a wonderful way to get a feel for our classrooms, community, and approach to early childhood education.
There are two ways for prospective families to tour BFS, depending on where you are in the admissions process. Throughout the admissions season, families may also have opportunities to visit BFS through Open Houses and other admissions events.
Choose the tour option below that works best for your family.
🏫 Individual School Tours
Available Now for 2026–2027 Applicants
Families who have submitted an application to BFS for the 2026–2027 school year may request an individual school tour. Tours are generally offered on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and provide an opportunity to visit BFS, see our classrooms, and learn more about our program and community.
An *admissions application and application fee must be submitted before requesting an individual tour.
Tour requests are subject to availability and are confirmed by BFS.
🍂 Admissions Season Tours
Coming November 2026
During admissions season, BFS offers additional scheduled tour dates for families who are interested in learning more about the school before applying.
No application or application fee is required to attend an Admissions Season Tour.
2027–2028 Admissions Tour Dates
November 17 & 18, 2026
December 3 & 4, 2026
December 9 & 10, 2026
January 7 & 8, 2027Admissions Tour registration will open closer to the start of admissions season.

Individual School Tours are available to families applying for the 2026–2027 school year who have submitted a BFS application and paid the application fee.
Families who are still exploring BFS can join us during admissions season for Admissions Season Tours, Open Houses, and other admissions events.
