We are always seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Part-Time Substitute Teachers
Brooklyn Free Space is looking for dynamic and adaptable part-time substitute teachers to join our team. Ideal candidates will have teaching experience and the ability to engage with students in a variety of subjects. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering lesson plans in the absence of regular teachers

• Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment

• Supporting student needs and providing individualized attention as required

Part-Time Assistant Teachers
We are also hiring assistant teachers to support our lead educators in delivering high-quality instruction. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation and implementation of lesson plans

• Supporting classroom management and student engagement

• Working collaboratively with teachers to meet the diverse needs of students

Qualifications for Both Positions:

• Education or experience in a related field

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
