Partnerships

Brooklyn Free Space partners with a variety of organizations to enhance our community, curricular and after school programming.

Brooklyn Arts Exchange (BAX) provides a nurturing, year-round, performance, rehearsal and educational venue in Brooklyn that encourages artistic risk-taking and stimulates dialogue among diverse constituencies. Through this partnership, BAX offers our children a unique Creative Movement class after our regular school day ends—an exciting and engaging introduction to the world of movement for pre-schoolers.

Brooklyn Acting Lab is a not-for-profit educational theater program that provides weekly class after our regular school day ends. BAL supports learners on their journey of discovery and stimulates their thinking through interdisciplinary arts practices.

Sportball offers noncompetitive sports instruction for children in a weekly class, after our regular school day ends. Kids are introduced to eight popular sports: soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, golf & football.

Soulshine Life is dedicated to helping children and families of all ages develop a healthy relationship with their bodies and to set a strong foundation for holistic fitness. Each classroom has monthly sessions throughout the year.

Musication provides music camps and lessons to children ages 3 and up, in which students learn about music through hands on instrument playing, listening, singing, and exploring.
