BFS Extended Day provides families with additional care before and after the regular school day.
Families may preregister for a regular weekly schedule or request ad hoc care when needed, subject to available space, required ratios, and staff availability.

Pre-K: 3:10–3:40 p.m.

3:00–6:00 p.m.
Pre-K begins at 3:10 p.m.

📅 Registration & Sessions
Extended Day registration is organized into sessions throughout the school year:
Fall Session — September–December
Winter Session — January–March
Spring Session — April–June
Summer Camp Extended Day — July–August
Registration generally opens approximately two weeks before the start of each session. Fall registration typically opens toward the end of June.
Families are encouraged to register promptly once registration opens. Extended Day enrollment is subject to available space, required ratios, and staff availability.

📌 Extended Day Commitment
When you preregister for Extended Day, you are reserving your child’s space for the entire session.
Registration is by day of the week. For example, if you register for Mondays, your child is enrolled for every Monday that BFS is in session during that Extended Day session.
Families are billed for all registered days whether or not their child attends.
If your child is absent, on vacation, picked up early, or otherwise does not use Extended Day on a registered day, the charge still applies because the space has been reserved for your child.
Families who do not need a regular schedule may request ad hoc care instead, at the higher daily rate and subject to availability.
Please choose your recurring days carefully when registering.
💳 Billing & Payment
Extended Day is billed separately from tuition. Invoices for preregistered Extended Day are generally issued approximately five days before the start of each session and must be paid in full. Billing is based on the number of registered days that BFS is in session during the selected period.
Payment
All Extended Day payments are processed through Brightwheel. Families will receive their Extended Day invoice in Brightwheel and should submit payment through their Brightwheel account. Ad hoc Extended Day charges will also be billed through Brightwheel based on use.
✏️ Changing Your Registration
Need to make a change? You do not need to submit a new registration form.
After submitting your Extended Day registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Jotform. Keep this email—it contains the link you will use if you need to update your registration.
To make a change:
Open your Extended Day confirmation email from Jotform.
Select Edit Submission.
Update your Extended Day selections.
Resubmit the form.
Can't find the email? Search your inbox for “Jotform” or “Extended Day.”
Please note: Changes are subject to the Extended Day commitment. Editing your registration does not necessarily remove charges for days that have already been committed to or billed.

❓ Extended Day FAQs
Do I have to register for five days a week?
No. Select only the days your family needs. You may register for one or more days each week.
If I register for Mondays, am I registered for every Monday?
Yes. You are reserving your child’s space for every Monday that BFS is in session during that Extended Day session.
What happens if my child is absent on a registered day?
The charge still applies. Your child’s Extended Day space has been reserved for that day.
Can I change my registration?
Yes. Use the Edit Submission link in your Jotform confirmation email. Changes remain subject to the Extended Day commitment and any days already committed to or billed.
Will BFS send a separate registration confirmation?
Your Jotform confirmation email confirms that your registration was submitted. BFS does not send a separate registration confirmation.
Can I use Extended Day without preregistering?
Ad hoc Early Bird and After School care may be requested when needed. All requests are subject to available space, required ratios, and staff availability, and ad hoc rates apply.
Can I use Grace Period on an ad hoc basis?
No. Grace Period is available by preregistration only.
